First Day of School
I can not believe how fast this summer has gone! I swear my kids just got out of school for summer break and yet here I am driving them to school this morning. I now have a first grader and a sixth grader! I got some good pictures of Marissa and Erik this morning outside our house and then Marissa told me I had to leave the camera at home. LOL!! After I took them to their rooms and was leaving I seen a lady following her kids into the school with a video camera. I will have to tell Marissa about that, see I'm not that bad! Hehehe!

A BIG fish!!!
Earlier this month Efrain took Erik fishing to this little pond. I get a call on my cell phone about an hour after they leave, it's Erik. He is so excited and talking so fast I can't even understand him! LOL!! I tell him to slow down so I can understand what he is saying. He says, "Okay, Mom. I.....caught.....a.....monster....fish!!!!!!!!!!!!" Then the fast talk again! LOL!! "It is huge and I had to fight to get it in. I'm bringing it home for you and Marissa to see!" And then he was off. When they got home Erik wanted me to come out and see his fish and don't forget the camera he tells me. Oh the kid is learning isn't he? LOL! So here are some pictures of Erik's 3 pound, 17" large mouth bass. Doesn't he look proud?
Erik was checking out the fish's teeth. LOL!

Nigerian Dwarf Goats!
We have two nigerian dwarf goats that are Marissa and Erik's pets. We got them from our friends Lucy and Howard. The kids love these little guys and have been working with them and can now walk them on leashes. It is the cutest thing to see!! The kids plan on showing them in the pet parade tomorrow at our town fair.
This is Erik's little buddy, his name is Jasper.
And this is Marissa's little boy, his name is Snickers.
