Queen of the Basketball Court

This is my layout for the Scrap Street Stars round #5. My article and layout was all about kids in sports. My daughter loves to play basketball and I think these photos of her are awesome!

Final Round!

OMG!!! I made it to the final round in the challenge contest at Scrap Street! I am one of the top 10 and I am so shocked and excited! This last round is a big one. You have to write an article and create a layout to go with it. This is going to be challenging for me because I am not a writer. I'm going to have to thinking about this.

My Layout

This is my layout for Scrap Street Stars Round #4 contest. The challenge was to create your own challenge, create an example layout of your challenge and have a friend scrap a layout from your challenge. My challenge was an interview challenge.

Hey Dude!

I love this picture of my son. He is such a cool dude! These Fany Pants biggest board chipboard shapes are so awesome! I used the funky freestyle ones for this layout. I simply painted them and then added alittle bit of ink to the edges.

Round #3!!

I made it to round #3 for the Scrap Street Stars challenge contest!!! I already got my entry done for round #3 too. The next cut is a scary one. Right now there are 40 of us left. Only 20 will make it to round #4.

Scrap Street Toot!!

I got an email from Lindsey at Scrap Street, they picked up one of my layouts for their May issue!!! Very exicted!!

I just seen that 3 Bugs In A Rug added 8 more of my layouts to their gallery!! Unreal!!!

Time To Recharge

This is my number layout that I created for Round #2 for the Scrap Street Star contest. You had to use 3 different numbers somewhere on your layout. I used 5, 11, and 13 in my journaling. I am very happy with my layout and I hope that I am one of the 40 lucky scrappers that get to move on to Round #3. I guess I will have to wait until Sunday to find out!

One night my son was having a hard time going to sleep because of the thunder storm we was having so he laid down on my bed with me. After awhile he finally fell asleep. I looked over at him and he was laying like this with his legs up in the air. I had to run and get my camera!!! It was too funny.

My journaling reads:

Recharging instructions for a 5 year old boy. Always charge batteries for 11 hours after every 13 hours of play. Repeat nightly.
